The Comforts of Home Pet Care understands that every pet, like their owner, is unique. I can take care of all types of pets for families in Blyth.

Pet Sitting: Welcome

MY SERVICES AND TARIFFS

FEEDING AND COMFORT BREAKS

I'll visit your home to feed, empty litter trays and ensure your pet's enclosure is tidy. I'll also play with any type of pet, furry or not, if they would like to do so. Dogs will be let into the garden for a toilet break, or for a short walk, charged at my standard time rate.

If, on my visit, I find your pet is ill or injured without having been informed of this, I will take them to your registered vet. However, you will be liable for the cost of their treatment and my time at my standard time rate.

ADMINISTERING MEDICATION

If your pet is ill or has a long term condition, I can administer daily medication as instructed. Please note, this is not a substitute to treatment normally carried out at a veterinary surgery.

PET TRANSPORT

Having trouble getting a vaccination booster or groomer’s appointment? Let me take your pet. If your pet has an appointment outside a 5-mile radius from your home address, 25p a mile is chargeable. I am Institute of Advanced Motorists trained and insured to transport animals. I have carriers and harnesses for smaller dogs. Medium to large dogs can be transported in the rear of my car which is fitted with a dog guard and a safety gate (to help prevent escape in the event of an accident).

OUR INITIAL MEETING

Our first meeting is free and is to discuss your requirements and for me to meet your family.

We will go over what you would like me to do for you and I will explain how I work. You can see my certificates that show I am a member of NarpsUK (National Association for Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers) and that I have been DBS checked. You may also, if you wish, see any of my education certificates.

I will take your details and those of your pet, such as contact numbers and veterinary details. I will also note any particular needs of your pet, such as medication, special diet, or health conditions I should be aware of.

When you decide to book me, I will ask you to sign a service agreement and give you an owner checklist, which will cover the particular service(s) you are booking. I also have various release forms for veterinary treatment and medication logs. We will also complete a house information sheet with details of your property, such as emergency shut off for the water, gas, electricity and, where to place your post along with any other notes. I will ask you to sign a contract as designed by NarpsUK.
